Joelle Patterson brings a passion for connection and purpose to her role as Senior Resident Life Director at Pleasant View. With years of experience in senior living and memory support, she is dedicated to creating engaging programs that help residents feel connected, valued, and fulfilled. Joelle is also actively involved in dementia education and community initiatives that support individuals and families throughout their journey.

Known for her approachable style and steady leadership, Deb Robertson serves as Director of Nursing at Pleasant View. She is deeply committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting both residents and team members each day. Deb brings a thoughtful, down-to-earth perspective to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and spending time with her rescue dog, Cilla.

With nearly nine years of dedicated service to Pleasant View, Amy Zellers plays a key role in leading the community as Administrator. With a background as a Registered Nurse and early experience as a CNA, she brings a well-rounded perspective on resident care at every level. Amy is committed to quality outcomes and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

For more than 11 years, Kayli Battles has helped guide families through one of life’s most important decisions as Sales Director at Pleasant View. Her approach is rooted in compassion, honesty, and a genuine understanding of what it means to feel at home. Kayli is passionate about building meaningful connections, earning trust, and leading with heart to develop strong, service-driven teams. She is dedicated to ensuring every individual feels seen, supported, and valued.

With more than 15 years of experience in facilities management, John Richter oversees the operations and upkeep of the Pleasant View community. His background spans both commercial and healthcare settings, with a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and long-term planning. John has successfully managed more than $4 million in renovations while improving energy performance, and is known for his leadership, strong vendor partnerships, and commitment to creating a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and team members alike.

Having spent more than a decade at Pleasant View, Ashley Swords is a trusted advocate for residents and their families. As Social Service Director, she is known for her compassionate approach and dedication to ensuring each resident is supported with dignity, respect, and meaningful connection. Born and raised in Ottawa, she brings a deep sense of community to her work. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Sandra has grown her career alongside Pleasant View, building a strong foundation in operations, finance, and team support over the years. She began in 2009 as a part-time receptionist and has steadily advanced through roles in accounts payable, payroll, and business office leadership, including serving as Business Office Manager beginning in 2019. In 2024, she stepped into her current role as Community Operations Coordinator, where she continues to strengthen processes and support the day-to-day operations of the community.

Originally from Germany, Sandra moved to the United States in 2001. She has been married for 25 years and has two daughters, Grace and Sarah. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
